Federico Carbone and Daniele Campana are the two figures behind the ‘Shape of Mind’ project, born in 2021. Friends for many years, in 2006 together they took their first steps in the world of clubs starting to work as DJs in various clubs in Northern Italy.
In the same period they approached the musical production.

At a certain point in their path they take different musical paths that after several years make them cross again. They then decide to combine their experiences to create a pop / dance sound that unites them.

Makin Bakin & Club27 – Enough Is Enough

Berlin-based Disco House DJ and producer Makin Bakin just dropped an official remix for Disco and Soul legend „KC & The Sunshine Band“ in November. For his own new single „Enough is Enough“ he teamed up with the Viennese House project „Club27“ and singer Erika Schiff from Los Angeles (well known from „American Idol“). Throw your hands in the air to this feel-good anthem, originally performed by Donna Summer & Barbra Streisand!

The song climbed up to #5 on the storewide Traxsource Pre-Order Top 100 shortly before release.

Makin Bakin combines pumping club beats with the funkiest grooves from the 70s and 80s. His songs reached top positions in numerous charts (#7 Traxsource Soul/Disco, #15 Beatport Nu Disco, #5 DJ Charts Austria, #23 Deutsche DJ-Playlist etc.) and „Pow Pow“ was featured on the “Nu Disco – The Hits” CD compilation by ZYX music in July 2021.

Having played more than 1000 gigs all over the world DJ and producer Wolfram von Dobschütz entered the glittering world of Disco in 2020 as Makin Bakin. Alexandra Stan, signed to Universal Music, releases “Tokyo”.

Alexandra wrote “Tokyo” along side Manuel Riva, Robert Zgarbura and Misha Miller. Manuel Riva, who is a frequent collaborator of Alexandra (together they released the hit “Miami”) was also in charge of the song’s production.
